| This policy provides advice to assist in the interpretation of the Agricultural Land Commission Act, 2002 and Regulation. In case of ambiguity or inconsistency, the Act and Regulation will govern. | |

It is the policy of the Agricultural Land Commission that, if it grants an approval under the Agricultural Land Commission Act, the approval relates to the land and has no expiry date unless specifically noted as a condition of the approval or unless the approval is rescinded by the Commission or cancelled by the applicant. Therefore, an approval, including any terms and conditions, is transferable to any subsequent owner of the land and no further application to the Commission is necessary.
